Matius 21:35-39

21:35 But the tenants seized his slaves, beat one, ¹  killed another, and stoned another. 21:36 Again he sent other slaves, more than the first, and they treated them the same way. 21:37 Finally he sent his son to them, ²  saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 21:38 But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and get his inheritance!’ 21:39 So ³  they seized him, ⁴  threw him out of the vineyard, ⁵  and killed him.

Matius 23:31-35

23:31 By saying this you testify against yourselves that you are descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 23:32 Fill up then the measure of your ancestors! 23:33 You snakes, you offspring of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? ⁷ 

23:34 “For this reason I ⁸  am sending you prophets and wise men and experts in the law, ⁹  some of whom you will kill and crucify, ¹⁰  and some you will flog ¹¹  in your synagogues ¹²  and pursue from town to town, 23:35 so that on you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, ¹³  whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

Matius 26:3-4

26:3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people met together in the palace of the high priest, who was named Caiaphas. 26:4 They ¹⁴  planned to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.

Matius 26:59-66

26:59 The ¹⁵  chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were trying to find false testimony against Jesus so that they could put him to death. 26:60 But they did not find anything, though many false witnesses came forward. What is this that they are testifying against you?” 26:63 But Jesus was silent. The ¹⁹  high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, ²⁰  the Son of God.” 26:64 Jesus said to him, “You have said it yourself. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand ²¹  of the Power ²²  and coming on the clouds of heaven.” ²³  26:65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and declared, ²⁴  “He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? Now ²⁵  you have heard the blasphemy! 26:66 What is your verdict?” ²⁶  They ²⁷  answered, “He is guilty and deserves ²⁸  death.”
